Bioreactors!

Deze week was super spannend, leuk én leerzaam voor mij. Ik heb deze week geleerd om bioreactoren af te breken, weer op te bouwen en te runnen. Daar ben ik eigenlijk de hele week mee bezig geweest. Na al dat werk ziet dat er dan ongeveer zo uit:

En in mijn vrije tijd? Ik ben weer begonnen met series kijken, zoals the umbrella academy, en ik heb ook deze week weer gelopen in de buurt. Het was wel de hele week regen achtig, dus langzaam is het park achter mijn huis een moeras geworden. Nog wat omgevingsfoto's:

Het eind van de week werd weer gezellig afgesloten met het vrijdag-ochtend-afdelingsontbijt. De rest van de dag hebben ik en mijn deel van de afdeling hard gewerkt om het lab volledig schoon te maken. En toen was het alweer weekend. Zo’n week als deze gaat heel snel.

Afgelopen weekend heb ik heb een vintage/kilo sale bezocht. Daar kun je goedkoop een hele hoop kleding uitzoeken en dan betaal je elke kilo die je wil meenemen. Het was ook een mooi excuus om door Nørrebro heen te lopen en rijden. Het is buurt vol winkels en gezelligheid. Ook is het makkelijk te bereiken vanaf mijn appartementje. Aan de rand van Nørrebro zit ook een vershal met heel veel eettentjes. Ik heb nog niet de mogelijkheid gehad om er te eten, maar dat komt nog wel.

En zondag? Zondag is mijn ik moet ook volwassen zijn dag. Dus ik heb een hoop schoon gemaakt, geschreven én films gekeken. Dat is ook fijn voor de ontspanning. Verder heb ik vooral lekker bij gekletst met vrienden uit Nederland. Ik heb ook verder gewerkt aan een paar verhalen waar ik mee bezig ben. Nu is het weer bijna tijd voor bed.
Op dit moment staan er nog niet heel spannende dingen op het programma voor volgende week, behalve dan de eerste dungeons & dragons sessie met mensen die ik ken van stage. Daarover volgende week meer!

This week was super exciting, fun and instructive for me. I learned to break down, rebuild and run bioreactors this week. I actually spent the whole week working on it. After all that work it looks something like this:

And in my spare time? I've started watching series again, like the Umbrella Academy, and I've also walked through the neighbourhood again this week. It was rainy all week, so the park behind my house has become an actual swamp.

The end of the week was again closed with the Friday-morning-department-breakfast. The rest of the day me and my part of the department worked hard to clean our lab completely. And by then it was already weekend. Weeks like this always go by very fast.

This weekend I've visited a vintage/kilo sale. There you can find a whole lot of clothes and then you pay every kilo you want to take with you. It was also a nice excuse to walk and tour around Nørrebro. It's a neighborhood full of shops and fun stuff. It is also easy to reach from my apartment. On the edge of Nørrebro is also a food market with lots of places to eat. I have not yet had the opportunity to eat there, but that will come.

And Sunday? Sunday is my “I have to be adult day”. So I have cleaned a lot, written and watched movies. This is a great way to relax. This weekend I also spent some time catching up with some friends from the Netherland, which was super nice. Now it is almost time for bed.
At the moment there are no real exciting things on the program for next week, yet. Except for the first Dungeons & Dragons session with people I know via the internship. More about that next week!
